PCB를 설계시 사용하는 OrCAD 같은 프로그램에서는 부품의 단위로 mil 단위가 기본으로 설정이 되어 있습니다.
그리고 칩 저항 같은 SMD 부품도 mil 단위와 mm 단위를 사용하여 부품의 치수를 얘기합니다.
1000mil은 1 Inch(25.4 mm)이며, 100mil 은 2.54mm, 즉 브레드 보드의 핀 피치로 기억을 하고 있으면 편합니다.
